title : technology

Orion has spent years perfecting the technologies behind its seamless plasma technology.

The latest range of Infinite Plasma screens features a range of revolutionary product developments, including a reduced seam gap, anti-reflective surface and incredible burn-in compensation technology.

bezel-free technology seamless videowall

The Orion Infinite Plasma is the first product to produce a completely bezel-free image with the removal of any bezel around the screen.

This combined with no dead zone at the edge of the screen ensures that the picture is displayed right to the edge of each panel. When placed together this creates a completely seamless image.

burn-in compensation burn-in compensation technology

Infinite Plasma modesl feature the truly ground-breaking Burn-in Compensation (BIC) Technology.

The revolutionary BIC technology intelligently and continuously monitors the usage of every sub-pixel in the display panel. It then builds historical usage data which is mapped into subsequent images to effectively mask the aging effects across the display in real time.

This innovative solution not only delivers visually exceptional results but also extends the useable life of the panel and yields greater colour accuracy and consistency during the mid and latter stages of the panel’s operational lifetime.

The new generation of Infinite Plasma is the first plasma display panel anywhere in the world to offer this leading-edge technology.
anti-refelctive surface anti-reflective surface

The Infinite Plasma screens have filters to reduce glare and reflection on the glass.

This non-reflective anti-glare coating minimises reflections whilst black levels and light output are enhanced.

This innovation makes the new generation of Infinite Plasma perfect for applications in high ambient light environments including retail, window and digital signage applications.

videowall control software videowall control software

MSCS (Multi Screen Control Software) is a comprehensive yet easy to use application for controlling multiple Infinite Plasma displays.

Arrays of screens can be easily controlled from the graphical interface. Source selection and image scaling are easily achieved with a click, drag and release of the mouse.

The MSCS software is also used to access colour adjustments, auto power and APL features, as well as other engineering functions such as burn-in compensation on BIC enabled panels (MIS4230/MIS4230R/OPM-4250/OPM4250R).

Versions below 3.0 are specifically for use with models MIS4201 and MIS4210.
NOTE : Versions from 3.0 onwards are required for models MIS4220 onwards and are not backwardly compatible with earlier generations of Infinite Plasma.
